Broking Associate Team Leader
Darlington
£30,000 to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits
We are currently recruiting for a Broking Associate Team Leader on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and very well-known Lloyd’s/London market business.
The successful candidate will oversee and help to support the Internal Broker team, assisting with the continuous improvement of processes, techniques and technical capabilities to maximise Operational productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Working with Claims and Underwriting management, with particular reference to Delegated Authority Underwriting and Claims, to deliver policy & loss detail checks and documentation, as well as producing upload and process LPANS, invoices and signings.
Monitoring, checking and actioning e-mails, as well as managing shared inboxes as required.
Overseeing and managing a team of 3 Bordereaux Associates.
Eliminating backlogs and working with Credit Control and Finance to ensure relevant items were cleared relating to cash balances.
Working with Consortium partners, Xchanging, coverholders and TPAs in the delivery of the Internal Broking Services.
Maintaining Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk within the business.
Coordinating and reconciling fees and collections.
Adhering to the KPIs set out by management.
Daily completion and maintenance of cashbook and ledgers.
Key Requirements
At least 2-3 years experience working in a claims environment within insurance.
Good understanding of insurance market operations and claims systems, including Lloyd’s and London Market premium and claims processing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership skills and attributes.
