We are recruiting for a CAD Draughtsman to join our specialist Engine manufacturing client on a contract basis. The client have completed several upgrades to their facility in recent years and whilst there are a number of existing drawings there are some gaps so they need someone to check and redo existing documents and fill in any missing information.
The Role
As a CAD Draughtman you will work on site completing surveys and updating drawings of their manufacturing facility and the lay out. You will review the existing drawings of the facility and update to reflect the current layout. This will include civil, structural, electrical and piping layouts. Any areas that have not been covered by existing drawings will be included and using AutoCAD you will create 2D drawings of new equipment layouts.

To be a successful CAD Draughtman you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role completing surveys and draughting designs
- Technical qualifications such as HND / HNC or equivalent within a relevant subject
- Site based experience and able to work autonomously
