Job Title: Multi-Skills Construction Lecturer
Position: Full time, temporary with the chance to go permanent
Salary: £20 – £28 per hour including holiday pay
We are looking for a Multi-Skills Construction Lecturer as our Yorkshire and North East Further Education team are working in partnership with a College based in Darlington. This role would also be ideal for anyone who has worked in the Construction industry that may be looking to come away from site and enter a Teaching based role.
The successful Construction Lecturers will have the following skills and qualifications:
Teaching qualification i.e. PTLLS or PGCE or the willingness to work towards one within an outlined period of time.
Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant or related subject area
Ideally experience within brickwork, plastering and joinery.
Experience of interacting with 16 – 18 year olds including in the workplace i.e. apprentices
A keen interest in equipping others with knowledge and skills in your specialism
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and maths or the willingness to obtain
