Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Darlington.
_*Job Description and Key Responsibilities:*_
This role is a full time permanent position based in Darlington. You will be working in a Mixed Acute unit of 22 beds. Your responsibilities of a Consultant will be:
Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
Active role in service and development activities
Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
Taking clinical responsibility for patients
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
Take part in medical related audits.
_*Job Requirements:*_
GMC with a licence to practise
CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry.
Approved Clinician status
Section 12 approval
