TP Tutors are hiring! We are looking for experienced English Tutors to deliver tuition in Secondary Schools across Darlington.

Teaching Personnel is an approved tuition partner for the National Tuition Programme (NTP) until 2024. The NTP is a government scheme set up in 2020 to provide educational support to young people whose education has been disrupted by school closures in response to the Covid – 19 pandemic.

About this role:

As a Secondary English Intervention Teacher, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of 1:1 and small group tuition sessions. At the end of each session, you will be required to submit post session feedback on LEAP, Teaching Personnel’s online learning platform.

We have a range of part time and full-time roles available and can be flexible to suit your availability. Teaching Personnel provide competitive pay rates (£25 – £40 per hour) dependent on tuition group size and teaching experience.

Requirements:

To become a Secondary English Intervention Teacher, you will need to hold QTS status. In addition, you will need UK KS3 and KS4 teaching experience and be confident with several GCSE syllabus including AQA and Edexcel.

A Child Workforce DBS that is registered on the update service is desirable, however this can be obtained during the registration process.
