:
Capita is looking for a Part time Finance assistant – Based in Darlington and Home.
The role is 28hrs a week but we are flexible when you work those hours over 5 days!
Finance/administration experience required as is use of MS Excel.
Any experience using SAP would also be an advantage but not essential, however would prefer experience of using a computerised finance system of some sort. Good communication skills as will have time have to deal with colleagues from other departments, team player but also able to self- manage own time and responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
Accounts Payable
Keep track of purchase orders. Ensuring all approved and sent to relevant ops to forward to supplier.
Handle supplier queries both on invoice and payment
queries.
Keep a log of all supplier contacts and maintain relationship
Handle all invoicing to external clients. Maintain credit control to ensure customers pay on time.
Liaise with internal clients regarding cross charging and back-ups
Maintain list of contacts for each external/internal client
What we’re looking for:
General Finance Responsibilities
Keeping relevant spreadsheets up to date.
Support both Finance Manager and Financial Analyst in all reporting
Posting journals onto SAP
Petty Cash
Company credit card
Ad-hoc reports
