Your role with us
From Hinkley Point C to the Lower Thames Crossing, we provide specialist advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). Joining our national team of permitting officers, you’ll work across the interface between planning and permitting, providing statutory advice and helping to accelerate key infrastructure while protecting the environment. In particular, you will offer ongoing training and support to permitting officers in relation to national infrastructure projects and be the central point of contact for permit enquiries from area planning officers. You will also support technical experts in making group decisions at pace.
What do I need?
You will have a good understanding of the NSIP planning process and be able to convey complex information to others in a training context. While permitting knowledge would be helpful, you will be supported by a team of senior permitting officers. You must be well organised and able to learn and adapt to new working practices easily.
