Job Details:
Must have valid and current Right to Work in the UK
Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-time hours may be available)
Based in Darlington
Salary £25,000 per annum (Full time equivalent)
28 days’ holiday per year including bank holidays
3-month probation period
Some travelling within the UK may be required
Qualifications Required (essential):
NEBOSH General Certificate (at a minimum – please do not apply if you do not already have this qualification )
Minimum of 1 year’s recent and relevant experience in a similar role
Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Fluent in the English Language
Clean and full driver’s licence
Qualifications Required (desired):
NEBOSH Fire Certificate
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
ISO qualifications or experience (such as Lead Auditor)
Key Responsibilities:
Engage & advise clients on health & safety matters
Develop & maintain documentation for clients
Stay up-to-date on legislative changes
Write policies/risk assessments/reports & implement action plans
Carry out audits/investigations & assist w/accreditation
Acquire new clients & engage in sales activities
Update policies/procedures to maintain compliance
Maintain client CRM & attend weekly strategy meetings
Carry out account management & assist with marketing activities
About You:
Strong written, oral communication and people skills
Ability to use initiative, be forward thinking and manage own workload when given autonomy
Flexible approach to working and ability to deal with changing demands in a shifting environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Attention to detail
Promote a climate of honesty, integrity, approachability and teamwork
