Healthcare Support Worker – Darlington DL3

We are looking for dedicated caring people to join the team. You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of people with mental health issues and learning disabilities.

  • Salary: £22,000+ per annum, pro rata*
  • Hours: Full Time/ Part time and Bank – 42 hours per week or 36/26 hours a week contracts (12-hour shifts)
  • A variety of shift patterns are available and the service is open to discussing and can be flexible
  • Cygnet Hollyhurst is a specialist residential service with nursing, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in Darlington, County Durham. The nurse-led team supports individuals who have additional mental or physical health needs and behaviors that may challenge

    You will:

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
