To assist the HR function in providing a comprehensive generalist HR service to the business.
Take ownership for the delivery of professional and accurate first line advice to colleagues, managers, and senior managers on all HR matters, including but not limited to, colleague complaints and grievances, first line policy and procedure advice and terms and conditions,
Plan, organise and carry out your work to meet the requirements of the HR department.
Liaising with a number of other departments such as payroll, people insight and procurement to share information and provide the best results for our customers
Working alongside the HR Team to process a range of HR related documents
To make effective and accurate use of the HR/Payroll systems, to input and revise data, ensuring that any potential issues and problems are escalated
Working to seek improvements to HR processes and procedures and contribute to the implementation of these.
Engage and build strong relationships with our customers.
To co-ordinate Data Subject Access Requests in collaboration with the Data Protection team
Assist HR Managers with the production of letters and documentation
Processing Leavers/Changes and Annual Leave calculations
Minute taking for confidential meetings
Ongoing monitoring of Right to Work documentation for existing colleagues
Provide support on a number of HR Compliance requirements such as regulatory body registration, DBS and right to work checks escalating to the HR Officer when required
Deal with noncomplex payroll queries such as missed and manual payments
Update Personnel details in the HR/Payroll System
Understanding of the latest HR policies, procedures, and best practice to improve workplace efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters, always adhering to Data Protection legislation.
