About The Role
As part of our dedicated service to our care homes across the country you will be part of a team of highly skilled and technically driven IT Colleagues who support our infrastructure.
We are looking for a customer and tech focused learner to join our IT service desk to support our colleagues across the business, with a structured apprenticeship training programme to not only get you certified through accredited courses, but also gain hands on experience into your first steps within an IT career.
You will provide first level customer support via Voice Calls & Email workflows, handling the resulting incidents, Service Requests or Requests for Change, using the incident management and request fulfilment processes, in line with Service Desk objectives and ITIL Best Practices.
About You
With a minimum 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English, you have a strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner.
You will have a high level of attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Ideally you will have experience working as part of a team in a professional environment, and have experience of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS teams.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
