We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Placement Student to join our team specialising in IT Analysts for our Manufacturing Engine Plant in Darlington, Country Durham.During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead small projects and initiatives from requirements definition to delivery, utilising structured project and business analysis methodologies

Supporting Industry 4.0 / Internet of Things (IoT) roadmap planning, development and deployment within the manufacturing environment.

Improving IT and related business processes through your involvement in cross functional, cross business unit and global initiatives

Developing Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft SSBI/PowerBI/SharePoint

Support and improve processes through process flow mapping, data collection and analysis, testing and problem solving; involvement in production support activities as needed

Work with Business / IT Compliance and Internal Controls by supporting the preparation and submission of evidence for quarterly Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliance reviews
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Studying a degree in IT, Business or Project Management related subject

General IT, Windows, PC/Server technologies, proficiency and understanding

Competent in collaboration tools, Microsoft Office and Zoom

Strong written and confident in verbal communication skills
