

Teaching Personnel
Are you passionate about the wellbeing of others and would like to be involved with the development of children with PMLD? We are working with a SEN Secondary School based in County Durham (DL16) that has a focus of providing exceptional standards of education provision for 11-18 year-olds.
We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant who can support the children to develop their independence. This could include daily activities, personal care, meal preparation, medication, and taking part in various hobbies and life skills. The school are happy to consider staff with experience in School settings and Alternative Provisions, Care backgrounds and those with experience of Health and Social Care qualifications.
The role is due to commence ASAP and is expected to continue on a long term basis. We are able to negotiate hourly rate on your behalf starting from £10.77.
Experience
Must Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one
Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties
Previous experience in working with SEN children required
