Part Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior Associate

Central Employment is currently recruiting for one of our clients in Durham/Darlington to recruit a Part Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior Associate. Our Client is a reputable accounting firm seeking a Part Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior Associate. to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts from various client systems (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks Online)
• Participate in onsite audits as an assistant to the audit senior
• Undertake relevant tasks as required by the audit senior during onsite audits
• Lead audits depending on the client and level of experience
• Prepare draft corporation tax computations
• Address queries raised by accounts and tax managers on draft accounts and tax computations
• Clear review points and address queries raised by colleagues
• Serve as a point of contact for clients’ ad hoc queries
• Provide support and guidance to new team members as a buddy
• Attend clients’ premises across the North-East and Yorkshire, depending on office location.

Experience & Qualifications:

• ACCA or AAT level 3 or 4 qualified
• General practice background with exposure to accounts/audit
• Have Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to check work for accuracy.
• To be able to solve problems.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge with Excel.

• Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 37.5
• 9- Day Fortnight.
