People Administrator (HR / Payroll) – Darlington The position is for 37.5 hours per week. You will provide proactive support to the people function in all HR, Payroll, Recruitment and Time & Attendance related administration and work closely with the People Manager to ensure a high quality service is delivered to the business. Key tasks and responsibilities include:- Complete transactional HR, Payroll, Recruitment and Time & Attendance activities accurately and efficiently Act as first point of contact for incoming HR/Payroll/Recruitment/Time & Attendance queries including monitoring emails and answering phone enquiries Maintain an up to date knowledge of HR Policies and procedures and principles to ensure appropriate first line HR Support & advice is given to all employees and managers, directing more complex queries to senior HR Management Timely creation, collection and storing of accurate documentation Maintain and update the HR system & recruitment databases General administration support as and when required Previous administration experience (minimum 2 years) essential. HR experience (minimum 2 years) essential. Payroll experience is desirable. Proficient computer skills is essential with knowledge of G-Suite (Google) preferable. We require someone with a flexible approach to work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and line managers would be an advantage, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
