Join us in this brand-new role as a Process Improvement Engineer and you’ll have full responsibility for identifying opportunities for improvement of methods, systems and equipment used to convert raw materials into a finished product.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll (working with the manufacturing & engineering leadership team) ensure the smooth operation of the production facility by optimizing current processes and supporting with the implementation of strategic projects. You’ll assess operational processes and gather data to identify trends, develop best practices and implement solutions to help improve production rates, efficiency cost and product quality by running improvement activities along with assisting with testing and trials of new materials and equipment.
How you will qualify for the role
You will be degree qualified holding at least an HNC/HND and have worked within an Engineering/Process improvement role with experience of implementation of statistical process control, design of experiments, statistical data analysis, continuous improvements, 5s and design for six sigma. Excellent leadership and communication skills are a must along with being able to lead, innovate and inspire colleagues at all levels. You’ll be a strong lateral thinker with a proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment along with the ability to work independently.
