NonStop Care is currently working with a Good Ofsted local authority in the Sussex area who are looking for a Experienced Social Worker to join their Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children team.

You will be working closely with unaccompanied asylum seeking children, assisting the children with the challenges of fitting into their new society. Improving your skills while also helping the most at risk children.

Responsibilities:

Engage with children, their carers and families in such a way as to clearly understand their circumstances, wishes and feelings and form conclusions which direct longer term interventions focused on the best interests of the child.

Supporting unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people to adjust and develop into their new environment and society.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker with experience in Children services, ideally within a Looked After Children or Children In Care. You will have a Social Work Degree and a driving license.
