As a Records and Documents Manager at HC One, professional expertise and kindness will be fundamental to delivering a high-quality records management service to HC-One colleagues and residents, supporting colleagues on their records management journey. Acting as a business enabler to excellent records management practice will be essential to your success. By developing positive working relationships, you will work with colleagues and external suppliers, around the day-to-day management of our paper and digital records management estate and addressing any issues that may arise in relation to records management.You will provide support to HC-One in developing our records management provision, including looking at new and innovative solutions around records management, as well as reducing the paper records estate in line with our move towards increasing use of digital solutions.Please note that if the Business needs requires this role could include national travel.For you, that will mean applying your Information Governance and Records Management skills to ensure that managing records is consistent across the organisation, ensuring that records are safe and available to colleagues to provide the kind care we strive for. Working with homes, you will have a kind and approachable manner, and be able to coach Home Administrators and Managers on the importance of good records management, always putting the resident at the heart of everything you do.We’re looking for an experienced Degree level qualified Information Governance or Records Management professional, with the ability to apply high quality records management practice in a social care setting, along with significant relevant experience of working across organisations with both internal and external stakeholders.Beyond that, you will possess the values of kindness, accountability, and teamwork, and be able to lead HC-One’s records management journey with professionalism and kindness. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.HC-One offers professional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for older people.
