Your new role:A fantastic remote working opportunity working for an ambitious business based in Darlington. My client are seeking to recruit a Revenue Manager to report into the Head of Finance. This role will provide commercial support and challenge to the business in driving performance, with a focus on revenue. You will project manage the annual fee uplift process, support UK pricing and bid activity, assess and act on legacy revenue issues to positively impact business performance.Duties and responsibilities:- Key support role to the business.- To drive revenue performance across the business, working with internal and external stakeholders.- Manage and lead on annual fee uplift project, preparing submissions for external review.- Negotiate annual and ad hoc fee increases with funders/external stakeholders, ensuring that increases to the business cost base are covered through revenue.- Develop and own pricing matrixes for the business, identifying opportunities to increase revenue stream.- Develop and maintain accurate records of services provided to service users.- Own the accuracy of revenue reported in monthly/annual statements.- Working with finance and other internal colleagues to identify and act on revenue gaps and opportunities.- Provide commercial support to the business in tendering for new opportunities and contract renewals, including discussions with appropriate funders, to minimise risk/ exposure on longer frameworks.- Develop a robust understanding of pricing compared to the national provider landscape.You will be/have- Qualified, CIMA, ACCA or ACA- Able to manage a high workload across wide geographic spread.- Ability to effectively partner with multiple stakeholders across all levels of the business.- Able to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way.- Good Microsoft Office skills – including Excel.- Excellent commercial acumen.This role is remote, with some office working. This will include some travel to services including occasional overnight stays. You will be expected to attend meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
