Senior Registered Nurse – Leaders in Care – Darlington

Leaders in Care has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join an established Dialysis Clinic in Darlington. You will provide life-enhancing renal care to patients with chronic kidney disease. This full-time role comes with a salary of up to £41k, depending on experience. You will provide patient care according to procedures with the aim of increasing the quality of life patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided, including on-the-job training, e-learning and access to our in-house education programme. If you were already in this nursing role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week: Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with processes Reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients and participating in quality and service improvement programmes Providing a mentorship approach to the team, empowering patients, qualified nurses and other staff to share knowledge and skills Taking ownership of care prorammes for renal patients and performing patient assessments throughout treatment. To apply for this Senior Staff Nurse role, you will need to be an NMC Registered General Nurse with experience in a renal dialysis setting (2 years+). You will also require the following: Awareness and understanding of the NMC code of professional conduct In possession of/or working towards a post registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent) Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care Excellent communication skills. In return for your skills, you will enjoy a salary of up to £40,153 depending on experience, overtime, internal development and career progression, generous holiday allowance, life assurance, stakeholder company pension and referral scheme paying up to £1,000.
