Middleton Lodge – Senior Support Worker

Are you an existing Senior Support worker or an experienced support worker ready to step up?

At Middleton Lodge, we support up to 10 adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Care Needs. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic team and further your career in social care.

Hours – 2 Full time positions available (40 hours per week) & 1 part time position available (20 hours per week)
£11.50 per hour
Shifts – Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends
To assist with supervision, monitoring and day to day management of other staff
Participate in the On-Call rota, to provide managerial support.
Assistant with implementing and reviewing care plans.
Minimum of Level 2 diploma is desirable.

The people we support are at the heart of what we do. You as a committed Senior Support Worker will support the people we support within our service and out in the community.

The people we support requires support with personal care, medication, washing/bathing, in centre activities, accessing the community, day trips to Blackpool, Whitby and Scarborough. No matter what support is required, we guarantee every day will be different and bring a new achievement to the people we support.

The post holder will be required to fulfil their job role and support the management team and the lead a team of support workers to assist with their development. It is important that you have the right core values to ensure the people you support receive the best quality care. Training will be provided and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
