Central Employment are working in partnership with a fast growing FMCG, Lifestyle & Wellness brand with a UK consumer footprint. Due to impressive growth and expansion plans within their in-house Marketing team, they are looking for a data and analytically driven SEO Manager. Purpose of the SEO Manager role: Reporting to the Marketing Director you will work alongside the current Digital Marketing Manager (Paid Media) and be responsible for developing and all key SEO metrics to drive acquisition through quality inbound traffic, registrations and conversion and retain loyal customers through email and SMS. This role is highly analytical as we are a data led business. You will be responsible for all automated and manual email and SMS journeys as well as all of our transactional remarketing. Your role will manage the CRM trading calendar and ensure this channel supports our active database, reactivates our lapsed database and activates. You will also be responsible for Search Engine Optimisation and customer facing content. Key responsibilities of the SEO Manager:- * Plan and implement all SEO and CRM marketing activity * Champion the importance of SEO and the benefits across the business and focus on E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness) * Create SEO optimised copy across all websites balancing the need to increase our organic rankings, with our desire to convey the right brand tone and user experience * Continually upgrade and implement SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and drive quality registrations and conversion * Continually review keywords including using Google keywords research tool to optimise all content * On-page optimisation including page titles and meta descriptions * Monitor our KPIs and report on the success of our organic traffic and stay on top of competitor activity within organic search * Optimise the customer journey across website and app to drive a frictionless online experience * Build and update website content across CMS platforms * Update the eCRM plan to drive targeted conversion and maximise retention from the existing database * Manage the day to day running of the eCRM campaigns including the data journeys and working with the Graphic Designer to build optimised emails * Data management – manage, maintain, and improve the quality of our customer database adhering to GDPR guidelines * Improve and optimise our current transactional service emails and introduce a new transactional remarketing journey for abandoned browse and abandoned basket * Use Mail chimp to develop a customer insight tool through surveys * Be the day-to-day contact with our CRM agencies, Pure 360 and Hive * Managing our CRM system including any technical issues through to resolution through relevant third-party technology providers * Extend current plan for App push and website pop ups to support sales driving activity * Use analytic analysis to report on and maximise all marketing investment * Manage and report on marketing activity budget and develop a marketing dashboard * Work with internal stakeholders and external agency stakeholders * Contribute to long term plans and strategy Essential experience: * Skilled Digital Performance professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in SEO * Analytical mindset * Confident reporting on SEO activity and ROI * In depth knowledge of analytical marketing tools including SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics etc * Experience of HTML and CSS for use on WordPress * In depth knowledge of CRM systems (training will be provided on Hive and Pure360) * Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills are a must * Able to make data driven decisions and recommendations * Ability to work in a fast pace environment with outstanding attention to detail * Work within a vibrant team to ensure campaign deadlines and objectives are achieved * Positive working attitude and desire to put forward ideas and implement positive changes to working practices as required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Prior experience working with compliant copy in a highly regulated industry is desirable
