Test Technology Engineer – Jenrick Engineering Careers – Darlington

An extremely busy and rapidly growing design, development and manufacturing business in the Darlington area is seeking to recruit a Test Technology Engineer to join them on a contract basis for a 12 month period. This Test Technology Engineer role will be working to support new testing within a new test facility, working with both combustion and electric powertrain and will: * Specify test systems within a test laboratory environment. * Project engineering / coordination product testing through from requirement stage. * Analyse data in and around Mechanical Engineering performance. * Assist through the provision of test data with the development of complex combustion or electric power train systems and components. The successful Test Technology Engineer: * A background in Automotive, Aerospace or general mechanical Engineering * Strong analytical abilities within Engineering data * Confident user of Microsoft office suite * Previous experience within PUMA & AVL test related software would be a distinct advantage but is not essential to perform this role. * Qualified within a STEM subject. This role has been assessed as inside IR35 and as such must be paid PAYE or PAYE via an Umbrella company.
